Brockville Counting the Days to Winterfest 2009 |
Preparations are underway for Ontario Senior Games – Winterfest 2009 to be held in Brockville, February 11-13, 2009. As stated by Michael Jiggins, Staff Writer of the Brockville Recorder & Times, “ Those putting it on have already started crossing off the days, now they're inviting the public to join them in the countdown.”
This will be the area’s second time hosting these games as Ontario Senior Games – Winterfest 2007 drew more than 850 participants to the area that included not only Brockville, but also Prescott, Athens and Gananoque.
